We are proposing to phase the redevelopment process, to allow us to keep Cecil Court operating during building works and to minimise disruption for residents. <\/b><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

The indicative plans below show our phasing proposals for the ground floor and first floor for Cecil Court.\u00a0\u00a0Split into two phases, the buildings to the west of the red dotted line would be redeveloped during the first phase, and the buildings to the east of the line would be redeveloped during the second phase.\u00a0\u00a0During the first phase, the eastern part of the care home would continue to operate with a reduced number of residents while the western part was rebuilt.\u00a0 The residents would then be moved into the new western part of the home to enable the rebuilding of the eastern part during the second phase.<\/p>\n

It is proposed that residents would be living on-site throughout the entire process.\u00a0\u00a0The phasing of the building process has been guided by our desire to create as little disruption to residents as possible, and to retain the dedicated staff that currently work at Cecil Court.<\/p>\n
