Horsham Green Continuing Care Retirement Community

Prime Group owns approximately 90 acres of land on the south-western edge of Broadbridge Heath, West Sussex. 

We are proposing to use less than 20% of this landholding – approximately 18 acres – to provide a unique Continuing Care Retirement Community, with the rest of the site given over to landscaped open space and extensive new planting.  Access would be provided from Five Oaks Road (A264).

The site is not in the Green Belt, nor has it any landscape, heritage or ecological designations preventing development.  It is largely flat in topography, largely screened from view by mature trees on its boundary, and provides plenty of space for extensive new tree planting and considerable biodiversity gain.

With the entire site in our ownership, there are no legal issues preventing its immediate development, nor are the proposals dependent on the delivery of any standard market housing.  The size of the site also allows for low-density, low-rise buildings appropriate for a rural location.
