Bellway are committed to keeping residents informed of any issues that arise at the site. ‘Live’ updates are posted on the homepage when issues relating to the site occur – below is a list of all updates that have since been removed from the homepage.
|Thursday 6 December 2018||From 10 December 2018, Tower Crane 1 will be dismantled. This is a 3-day operation, and will require out-of-hours deliveries of mobile cranes and equipment necessary for the dismantling process. A letter shared with local residents can be found here.|
|Monday 1 October 2018||From 8 October 2018, Togher Construction Ltd will be undertaking essential works, in support of Bellway Homes. These works will require road closures, and will take approximately 18 weeks. Alternate routes will be clearly signposted. A copy of the letter sent to residents in advance of these works can be found here.|
|Friday 26 January 2018||There will be a crane removal taking place on the evening of Monday 29 January. A copy of the letter distributed to residents around the site can be found here.
Bellway will do all they can to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum.
|Wednesday 6 December 2017||Works to install new river king posts on the river frontage will commence on 11 December. A letter sent to residents – with more information about the works – can be found here.|
|Monday 13 November 2017||There will be a crane delivery taking place on Thursday 16 November. To minimise disruption to the surrounding roads, this will take place between 6am and 7am.|
|Monday 6 November 2017||There will be work taking place outside normal hours this evening, due to issues experienced undertaking excavation work at the river walkway. The works include the use of a small generator to pump water at approximately 7.30pm, and should not create loud noise.
Additional work will have to take place tomorrow morning (Tuesday 7 November) from about 5.30am. This will follow the same procedure and should also not create loud noise.
Bellway apologise for any disruption caused.
|Tuesday 3 October 2017||We are expecting to run past 6.30pm this evening. This is due to an issue which has occurred with our concrete supplier whilst we are midway through pouring concrete floor slabs. The problem should be resolved soon, and we expect to have finished this work by 7.30pm and all operatives to be off site by 8pm. Bellway would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and are working to minimise disruption from the site.|
|Friday 22 September 2017||A letter has been posted to residents at River Gardens regarding the current works to install a new river wall defence. The letter can be found here.|
|Tuesday 12 September 2017||Bellway has submitted an application to make minor amendments to Blocks 5 and 6a at the River Gardens site. The application documents can be found here. If you are unable to submit a comment using the online portal, you can send an email or letter to the Greenwich Council case officer. All comments received up to determination date will be considered by the Council.

|Wednesday 6 September 2017||Bellway has applied for a Marine Licence as part of the works to provide a new footpath and cyclepath along the river front at River Gardens. The notice for this application, and information about how to view and comment on the application documents, can be found here.|
|Friday 4 August 2017||The site will be closed on Friday 4 August, as staff undergo training. The site will reopen as normal on the morning of Monday 7 August.|
|Tuesday 1 August 2017||The collection of a piling rig will be taking place on Tuesday 1 August between 7pm and 10pm. This is due to restrictions placed by the Council and Police on the timing of large vehicle movements. Please find below a copy of the letter distributed to homes close to the site. Bellway will work to ensure minimal disruption, and would like to thank residents for their cooperation.|
|Monday 10 July 2017||Due to an issue with the concrete pump, works finished at 6.30pm. Bellway would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused, and will ensure there is minimum disruption as they leave the site.|
|Wednesday 5 July 2017||Due to heavy traffic near the Blackwall Tunnel, there has been a delay to the completion of works. Bellway would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused, and will work to ensure the works are completed by 6.30pm.|
|Monday 3 July 2017||A failed generator has caused Tower Crane 1 to stop working. As it is holding a concrete skip, this will need to be removed before the site can be closed. Bellway would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused, and will work to solve the issue as soon as possible.|
|Thursday 22 June 2017||A road closure by Thames Water at Derwent Street has forced construction vehicles to be rerouted in order to access the River Gardens site. The closure should be removed by 29 June, until which time Bellway will be working closely with Thames Water and Greenwich Council to minimise disruption.|
|Thursday 8 June 2017||Due to an issue with the concrete pour, works will finish at approximately 6.45pm. Bellway would like to apologise for any inconvenience and are working to minimise disruption from the site.
As previously noted, a rig delivery will be taking place later in the evening. This is due to restrictions on when large deliveries can take place, imposed by TfL, the Metropolitan Police, and Greenwich Council.
|Tuesday 6 June 2017||The rig delivery planned for this evening has been delayed due to a fault with the delivery trailer. Bellway hope to reschedule this for Thursday 8 June, and will confirm with nearby residents with a letter drop closer to the time. This will take place outside of normal construction hours, as large deliveries are prohibited during working hours by TfL, the Metropolitan Police, and Greenwich Council. Bellway will work to ensure disruption to residents is minimised, and will confirm the delivery with a letter drop to nearby residents closer to the time.|
