Landscaping
Nature is a key part of the care that Cecil Court offers, so it is very important to us to allow residents space and freedom to enjoy the outdoors and stay active. Residents currently help tend to our herb garden and vegetable plot, in the limited landscaped area.
We want to and need to improve our outdoor offering to improve residents’ care. Therefore, extensive high-quality landscaping is envisaged throughout the scheme. Existing hedgerows and trees along the site’s boundaries will be retained and strengthened with new planting. There will also be landscaping to the front of the building which will not just add extra trees to the local community but will also enhance the frontage for the residents as well as enable the building to be screened.
The images below highlight the landscaping that have been achieved at similar sites which have significantly enhanced the garden for the residents and have given them a place to relax and reflect.
