Townfield Meadows

Part of the Townfield Meadows site is identified within the current Kirdford Neighbourhood Plan for a mix of sporting, community and residential uses. 

Our proposals seek to provide a multi-use games area, children’s play area and associated club house and parking area within a landscaped area towards the south-western end of the site.  It is intended that these facilities will complement the existing sporting facilities in the village so as to broaden the range of recreational opportunities available for existing and future residents.

Although the application we submit to Chichester District Council will be ‘outline’ only, with matters such as precise building design and layout to be determined by later ‘reserved matters’ applications submitted by the developer, we intend to ensure that the developer is required to follow a specific Design Code that builds upon the principles we have established through our Pattern Book, and respects the natural and built environment of Kirdford.
