The site is located just west of Hollybush Lane, and south of Tatling End within Denham Parish Council’s area. The site is bordered to the west by the M25, to the south by the M40, and to the east by Hollybush Lane, a minor road.

The land was previously used for mineral extraction, and subsequently as a landfill site. Planning permission was granted for remediation and restoration of the former landfill to agriculture in October 2014 and these works are currently ongoing.

In 2023, a public consultation was held regarding a proposal for film production space on this site. Following conversations with Buckinghamshire Council and potential operators, as well as broader movements within the entertainment industry, a decision was made that the proposed use was no longer the most viable option and best use of the land. Consequently, the planning application for this proposal was withdrawn in XXXX 2026.
